Cards Inspiration with Susie!

Hello and welcome!

Susie hosting the blog today and I am excited to share some cards I created with the new Serenade Collection. This collection has a unique combination of colors and a real asian flair! The intricate collage patterns  provide such interesting backgrounds that it is super easy to quickly create a batch of all occasion cards!

For each of the cards in this set I started with a gray cardstock base. The top layer of these 3 cards were all cut from the same sheet of Serenade 101.  I cut the brightly colored mats from coordinating papers in the collection.

For the first card, I used the bright green side of Serenade 101.

The sentiment was cut from Harmony 500.

For the next card I cut a purple mat from Serendipity 104.  I inked the edges of both of these papers with Plum PowderPuff Chalking Ink before assembly.

The edge on the sentiment for this card was inked with Midnight Confession and came from the 49 Shades of Grey Die Cut Stickers.

I dressed it up with black pearl bling from my stash.

For the final card I used Serendipity 102 to provide the bright coral colored mat. I inked the edges of both layers with Lipstick PowderPuff Chalking Ink.

The sentiment for this card also came from the 49 Shades of Grey Die Cut Stickers.

I inked the edge of the stickers and the papers with Midnight Confession before assembly.

This is such a fabulous collection for creating cards I hope you will give it a try!
