Happy Friday dear friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you a Thank you card that I made using my scraps of paper.

Sometimes I have little pieces of paper that I don't know how to use and today I had a fun idea that can be very useful. Also, this is the theme for our Challenge: You have to use scraps of paper in your project!

To create this card the first thing that I made was create the base and the second layer. The size of the base is 4-1/4"x 11" with score in 5-1/2" and for the second layer is 4"x5-1/4".

  1. Take strips of papers about 3/4" wide. I used these papers Farmhouse 104, Whistlin Dixie 107, Whistlin Dixie 109, 49 Shades of Grey 104, Farmhouse 106.
  2. Adhere the strips of paper to the second layer at an angle
  3. Stamp the "Thanks" sentiment in Midnight Confesions PowderPuff Chalk Ink on the second layer. If you want you can use the MISTI or Stamp-a-ma-jig to line it up.
  4. Tape Bermuda Bay Thick Baker's Twine to the back of the decorated layer to hold it in place while you tie it in front of the same angle as the decorated paper.
  5. Paste the decorated layer over the card base.
