Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you my first experience with the 2016 PowderPuff Chalk Inks. As you can remember, I love to create cards and as soon I saw the new colors I thought of creating my own backgrounds.
With this in mind here is my first card using a few colors of ink, stencil, stamps and of course our Quick Quotes Papers.

With this in mind here is my first card using a few colors of ink, stencil, stamps and of course our Quick Quotes Papers.
- To create this card I selected the Anchors Aweigh 106 Paper to start work on.
- I cut a piece of 4"x5-1/4" and I took the Secret Garden Stencil from Rebeca Baer Inc to secure it over the paper with masking tape.
- I started to ink the free spaces of the stencil directly with the ink pads of PowderPuff Chalk Ink in colors Lemon Sorbet, Pixie Pink, Desert Sun, Aqua and Light Moss. I played with the stencil moving it around of the paper
- Then I stamped the Mini Cogs by The Artistic Stamper using Navy and the sentiment Thank You using Mahogany.
- As a final touch I used a little piece of the same Anchors Aweigh 106 paper, I stamped the solid image of the butterfly using Seabrook and the detailed image of the butterfly first with Desert Sun and then with Milk Chocolate to create a great contrast.
- And fussy cut it with my scissors before pasting it over the colorful background.
- I layered this decorated piece over a piece of Anchors Aweigh 107 paper and then over the card base.
