Hi everyone, Martha Lucia here with a spring frame that I call Dance of Butterflies.
I made this using scraps of my papers: Catalina Island 200, Gypsy Road 400, Joy Ride 100, Joy Ride 200 and Joy Ride 400 and the PowderPuff Chalk Ink in colors like Seafoam, Sunset, Rusty Nail, Orange Slice, Blue Jeans, Brandywine to stamp my butterflies. I love to create collages or frames that I can change during the year and now that spring has sprung, the colors of the new papers and powderpuff chalk inks are perfect to do it.
To create my collage I used the light side of the Gypsy Road 400. I cut the paper 8"x10" to use as base. Then, using my scraps, I cut the nine circles with a circle framelit. I sponged the borders with coordinating colors of PowderPuff Chalk Ink. After this, I pasted to the base using dimensionals.
To stamp my butterflies I used different colors and different images. In some cases I stamped the image twice to get more dimension and in others I only punched the butterfly in decorated paper.
I decorated each circle with different elements like miniclips, buttons, banners, bakers twine, pearls, rhinestones and staples. I used the same punch to cut the buttlerfly and the same position to keep the concept line.
