Happy Thanksgiving to all!
I am thankful for my sweet
husband and my 'babies', and
I'm thankful that the car
accident I was in last
Thursday only damaged my
car and not me!

I'm so thankful for my husband and children. Even amid the chaos that is our everyday life (!) I am so blessed to have them in my life.

Hi everyone, Donna here today to host the blog for you today!

I have a banner to share with you that I made for the holidays. This was so much fun to make and the possibilities are endless when making a banner.
  • I started out by cutting the banners I made two different shapes, a triangle using Quick Quotes Back to Basics which is placed over the flag shaped banner which is made from Quick Quotes new line Treasure Chest.
  • I also took a decorative edge punch to border the triangle banner.
  • Next make three rosettes and on the top of them place your chipboard letters.
    • I used Viva Inka Gold Metallic Rub which makes anything look gold and it goes on so smooth.
  • Next make three bows using raffia which you can buy at any craft store.
  • After attaching them, use some raffia to attach all three banner pieces leaving about an inch or two in between banner pieces.
  • I wanted to go crazy embellishing, but I ended up only adding a wood star in the ribbon. Simple, but elegant.

Here is a close up of one of the banners...

I know everyone is busy getting ready for the holidays, but hopefully my project today reminds us to slow down and enjoy the time a bit too!
