Mini Album Tutorial with Jen!

Hi everyone!  Jen here today with a school themed accordion mini album to share with you. To create the base of my album, I cut two 8” x 10” pieces of cardstock and scored each piece at 1” increments. I then fan folded the cardstock pieces at each score line.

To create the pockets of my album I added 5 pieces of cardstock (8” x 6”) to every other fold. So I ended up with one fan folded cardstock piece on the right and one fan folded cardstock piece on the left.
I added a piece of chipboard to the back and the front of the album base along with patterned paper from the Back 2 School line. Then I punched holes with a Cinch binding machine and added the spiral binding to hold the left edge closed.

I then began decorating the front of my album with more patterned paper and chipboard stickers and Ribbon. I also inked the edges of my paper with Red Hot PowerPuff Chalking Ink.

I created 4 pages which were inserted into each of the pockets of the album. I decorated the pages with paper, stickers, gemstones and buttons. I then punched a circle for each page, folded it in half and added ribbon pulls for each page.

I decorated both the front and the back of each of the insert.
