Hi everyone! Wendy here and today I'm showing one of my favorite uses for the Quick Quotes 6 x 6 Paper Pads...paper piecing!
Since the papers are a scaled down version of the 12 x 12 paper prints they work perfectly for paper piecing.
Stamp image twice on white cardstock and once of the 6 x 6 brown Stowaway pattern paper and the 6 x 6 blue plaid Stowaway pattern paper. Here are the pieces all colored and trimmed. Before gluing the pieces down I inked the edges a bit with Powder Puff inks to give some depth.
A pocket holds a chipboard die cut. I adhered a magnet to the back of the chipboard die cut so the card recipient can place the tag on the fridge as a reminder of the inspirational quote. The quote reads..."Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen". I think that's a great reminder for everyone!
Quick Quotes Supplies Used:
Stowaway - 12 x 12 Collection
