Introducing... Barb Craft!

2013 Quick Quotes Design Team Introductions!

Hi! I'm Barb Craft and I am thrilled to be joining the Quick Quotes Design Team for another term! I recently moved to Phoenix, Arizona and am a stay at home mom. I have 4 children. My oldest three are in college in three different states (Indiana, Arizona and Missouri). Lauren, my 10 year old, is the boss of the house!

I love to spend my free time scrapbooking as well as making cards, altered art and off the page projects. Every once in a while I try crocheting and knitting but you probably won't be seeing any of those project on my blog any time soon... I still need a lot more practice!

A few random facts about me... I love to travel (Maui during whale season is my favorite place!), I can't live without my coffee and chocolate, and like to spend Saturday mornings hiking the mountains!

I am excited to be part of the Quick Quotes Educator Team and look forward to sharing my videos and tutorials with you!

I am thrilled to be back with Quick Quotes for another year! And I am even more excited to be part of the new Quick Quotes Educator Team sharing videos and tutorials with you! I know that I love to learn from other crafters so I am excited to share what I know with all of you!

I was lucky enough to receive the January Club Q Kit to work with!! Wowzers!!! I am in LOVE with these papers!! And once I started creating, I just couldn't stop! So sit back and grab a coffee... I have plenty to share with you!

Here is a layout I created with the January Club Q Kit...
The colors and patterns are so bright and fun! Perfect for those spring/summer photos!

All of these fun embellishments were in the kit!
I love the chipboard elements, especially the words!

I also made these cards with the January Club Q kit....

On one card, I used the PowderPuff Chalking Inks. On the other, I did not. I wanted to show what a dramatic difference it makes to even small projects.

These die cut pieces were in the kit to make a Photo File Box. I decided to use them as envelopes for my cards.

With PowderPuff Chalking Inks        Without PowderPuff Chalking Inks

There are some new PowderPuff Chalking Inks that will be released soon and I have to admit, I am pretty excited about them! I put together a quick video tutorial to show you how easy this ink is to use to add color around the edges of your papers, creating a more finished look to your projects.

Quick Quotes Products Used:
January Club Q Kit
PowderPuff Chalking Inks: Blue Hawaiian, Mango Mai Tai, Limeade

Thanks so much for stopping on over today!
