Canvas Project with Jan

I'm having so much fun playing with the new Quick Quotes, Cracklin' Rose line.  I just love the deep rich colors in this collection.  I used a bit of the Cracklin Rose behind the picture of my sweet grands.

The background here has been stamped and then heat embossed.  The 8.5" x 11" canvas is by Quick Quotes.  Heat embossing on canvas works well as long as the heat isn't applied for a long period of time.  I covered three chipboard pieces with white cardstock and heat embossed them as well.  The new vellum, "Nothing is worth more than this DAY" is a great match for the picture.  I've used my Bind-It All to attach the DAY at the bottom of the canvas.  The gingham ribbon is also by Quick Quotes.

I lightly misted the canvas with Black Glimmer Mist.
