Inspiration Thursday + A Giveaway!

Hello friends!

Jan here to share some graduation inspiration with you!

We has several graduation's this year and I was in need of several cards. Summer Samba 200 and Summer Samba 300 had just the colors I was looking for!  The class colors of one of our invites was orange and blue, perfect!

I've used "A Treasure" color vellum on the cards.  It's nice to be able to cut out the words or images you need and save the rest of the quote for another project.

I've used a border punch, orange and white Baker's Twine and an orange button.

Here's the color vellum quote.

As you can see, I've used the straps on one card and on the other I have used "memories" and the packaging behind "memories".   Summer Samba 500 is on the front of the card. I'll get 3 projects out of this one vellum quote!

Good morning!

Design team member, Suzanne, here to share a card I created with a visual rainbow of inspiration using some of my favorite Quick Quotes products - the Powder Puff Chalk Inks.

I don't know about you, but I am addicted to Pinterest ; ).   My card today was inspired by this pin.   I knew I could adapt this design using the following Powder Puff Chalk Inks:

To create "tags" in the inspiration piece. I cut strips of paper 2" x 3/4".  I used the direct-to-paper technique to color each one with my Powder Puff Chalk Inks.

I added glitter letter stickers to each one, spelling "thanks" and layering on my embossed card base.

I love how it turned out! The Powder Puff Chalk Inks have such a rich color.

I hope you give this technique a try!

Other Supplies:
Letter stickers
Embossed card base

Happy Crafting!

Hi! It's Barb again!

This time I am sharing a layout I created using the Quick Quotes June Club Q kit!

I have 4 kids but only 2 of them are still at home.  Even though Matt and Lauren are 9 years apart in age, they have a serious love/hate relationship!   And these photos show that!

One of the things I loved about this kit, other than the bright, fun colors, were all of the die cut goodies that came with it, starting with the cute white frames!

All of the layering in this shot shows some of the diecuts included in the kit... flowers, scalloped frames, yellow tags. I outlined a lot of the pieces to make them stand out a bit more on the layout.

Of course, a Quick Quotes kit would not be complete without some of their fabulous vellum quotes! This quote was longer than what I thought would work in this space so I cut it into two pieces and matted each on white cardstock.

If you have some summer projects, this kit is perfect!

Quick Quote Supplies Used:
June Club Q Kit (Papers, diecuts, vellum, ribbon)

Brads: Basic Grey
Pen: Copic
Letter Stickers: American Crafts
Cardstock: Core'dinations
Punch: Martha Stewart
Other: Chipboard letters, tag

Thanks so much for spending some time with us here today on the blog!!!

Like the idea of using the Powder Puff Chalks to create different color letter tags. Not thought of doing that before. Like the Summer Samba bright color paper that reminds me so much of my O'ahu Hawaii trip in Mar that I've used some of to do some wedding layouts of for the beach wedding we attended in O'ahu.
