Sketch Challenge

Your Host is DT member - ADORA.
Hello everyone!!! If you love challenges with an awesome prize, then you are in the right place. Welcome to the QQ blog challenge #7. As scrappers we all sometimes get stuck in a rut when creating layouts. One way to rejuvenate our creativity are with challenges. Today I'll present you with one that is fast and easy - a Sketch Challenge!!! I love sketches! It is a simple guide to use and then add your own interpretation and style. You can add as many elements as you want and use any colors that make you happy. Easy enough! I can't wait to see what you create with this sketch... we hope you'll play along.

The 'Top 3,' as chosen by our Design Team, will have bragging rights with a 'Top 3 fave' button to display at their own blogs + everyone who participates will be entered to win the prize for this challenge. Prize = $25 gift certificate to shop at (woohoo!).

Adora's take on her sketch

This month my best friend parents have been married for 50 years! We are throwing them a surprise party and I thought it would be fun to make a small plaque with a few photos on it, for the sign-in table. I used their wedding photo, their 25th wedding anniversary photo, and a photo from this last July. My plan is to use a small plate stand to prop it up on the table. I have one somewhere, but of course when I need it, I can’t find it.

It measures 8” x 6” and I backed it with chip board, so that it would be sturdy. All of the papers I used are from the Cherry Truffle line.

The rolled roses are a svg file from I inked the edges of the flowers with the Bloody Mary Powder Puff ink from Quick Quotes. I cut the 50 years with Make-the-Cut and the French Script MT font.

Use the InLinkz button here to upload your project!
Happy Scrapping!
