Altered Canvas with scraps (we know you have some laying around...)

Let's be honest: we all have those paper lines that we just 'adore' and can't bear to part with even the tiniest scrap. Check out what DT member, ADORA, has done with her small scraps. G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. I know she has inspired my next project.

ADORA - altered canvas
We all have a stash of papers filing in our craft room. Sometimes we get to use them and sometimes it remains in our stash. Those papers that’s too pretty to get rid off; papers that makes you happy inside. Yes, we are talking about papers and I’m pretty sure you can relate to that. So, what can you do with it??? This project I will share with you today is all about stash!!! I love this technique of combining patterns and colors into one, the end result is pleasing!!

How to:
Base on a 10 X 10 canvas, cut papers 2 x 1 (rectangle).
Used mod podge to adhere the papers onto the canvas.
Paint the canvas lightly with white paint.
While the paint is still wet, wipe the surface with paper towel to create a wash paint look.
And now you have a canvas that is ready to be decorated/embellished.

Supplies used are:
