Design Team Inspiration (Michelle & Lisa)

Check out what our Design Team has been up to:

MICHELLE - For You Gift Box

I must admit, I do not recycle 100% of the time, but I do try my best. This project is created with a recycled cardboard Weight Watchers Cheese Wedge container (A Laughing Cow Cheese container will work as well). I removed all the labels by slowly pulling them off the container and then inked the container with a Bloody Mary PowderPuff Chalk Ink along the outer edges of the top and the sides. I cut ¼ inch strips of paper to cover the sides of the container and then I cut paper circles using The Creative Memories Circle Cutting System to cover the top and bottom of the container (I used Beacon’s 3 in 1 Adhesive). I cut various flowers and a butterfly using Spellbinder Dies and added Prima and Petaloo flowers and butterfly stickers to the bouquet as well. I cut a frosted flourish and tucked it into the bouquet as well. I cut the tag using a punch. The body of the large yellow butterfly is simply a piece of paper rolled up to add dimension and the antenna of the butterfly is a piece of the loop de loop die cut that was included in the kit. I have a piece of black ribbon to add around the box once I place the gift inside to give the sides a more finished look.

Supplies Used: Paper from the August Club Q (Cherry Truffle), Quick Quotes Bling (yellow), Bloody Mary Powder Puff Ink Pad, Quick Quotes Frosted Flourish, Jenni Bowlin Stickers (Butterfly and letter stickers), Prima Flowers, Petaloo Flower (large Yellow flower), Beacon’s 3 in 1 Adhesive, unknown ribbon and bling (clear), Tiny Attacher, Spellbinder Dies and Big Shot

LISA - Brothers tag
I used the Aug Club Q kicker project (travel tag) and rather than gluing the front & back together I turned it into a free standing small photo display. I had this photo taken of my two boys about a month ago and thought this would be a perfect way to display it! (This is a made-in-minutes idea!)

Items used: Aug Club Q kicker project, Frosted Flourishes 'flowers', Bloody Mary QQ chalking ink. Both of the ribbons were from the Aug Club Q kit.

PS - when you receive your CLUB Q kit, we would love to see what you do with it. If you give the projects your own spin, then you can upload any projects using QQ products to the IDEA GALLERY tab at the top of the screen!!!

Can anyone offer help for this blogger issue? When setting up posts: I copy/paste the project details underneath the pictures (usually from word) and in my 'preview' everything looks great. (I set these up days ahead of time). Then on the day it goes live on the blog the text looks like it's missing (the text has mysteriously changed color to 'white' so it's hidden). So strange.

If anyone can offer assistance I would greatly appreciate it :)
