So Happy Mini Album with Rhonda

Happy Tuesday to you, it's Rhonda here today to host the blog.

I have a mini album project to share with you featuring the Urban Oasis collection paired with some Whistlin' Dixie Chipboard and Die Cut Stickers. This was also a bit of a stash buster, using a few items up that I have.

To begin, I gathered five different papers from the Urban Oasis collection and cut the mini album pages from each. Then I inked each of the pieces, front and backs using my coordinating PowderPuff Chalk Inks.

Once all the pages were inked, I assembled the pockets and placed each of the pages into sequence to select my cover. With my cover selected, then I added some stamping with Mahogany PowderPuff Chalk Ink, a touch of washi tape and my Chipboard sentiment.

For the lighter colored papers, I inked them using Latte on the edges, then using texture stamps and Warm Sand to achieved the typecast accents. A touch of Mahogany is used with the splatter effect. A bit of scrap washi was added too and finished with a sticker and silver gem from my stash.

I love the contrast of patterns and colors here. The sticker sentiment perfectly coordinates!

A touch of stamping with Warm Sand, layered with a bit of Cheesecloth and anchored with the Chipboard Sentiment. A few sticker accents added from my stash. Very simple, but the small touches add so much. Lots of room here to journal and the adjacent page is available for photos.

I love this Chipboard Tag and the quote. I used it for my focal point.

You can see the repeated design elements in the album. I've also used some of our smaller Chipboard sentiments on my sticker tabs, they fit so nicely.
