Private Reserve Fun!

Hi Quick Quotes fans! Former Quick Quotes Designer Dana Tatar here today sharing some of my fond memories of the super fun Quick Quotes Private Reserve 3-Day Event that I attended last Fall with fellow former Quick Quotes Designer Susie Bentz. Susie was gracious enough to act as the trip photographer, so all the photo documentation in this post, except the project photos, are courtesy of her!

We both had an absolute blast at Private Reserve. We were able to meet several of our online scrappy friends for the first time. It was so fun to talk and scrap in person! We were also able to meet the entire Quick Quotes family!

We were able to connect with many behind-the-scenes workers, like Mary, who packs all the boxes of Quick Quotes goodies for shipment.

The weekend was packed with Workshops, Crop Parties, Make-N-Takes, Prizes, a Canon Print Station and so much more!

Susie and I arrived in time on Friday afternoon to create this Gift Card Holder, which was just one of several FREE Make-N-Takes available. Each Make-N-Take station has all the supplies you need to put together a quick project. There is a friendly Quick Quotes staff member to help guide you through the process. There were Make-N-Take opportunities each day!

Each morning, you walk through an assembly line to pick up your page kits for the day. There was so much to carry, crafters started bringing empty tote bags through the line to gather it all!

In addition to Quick Quotes supplies, there was also FREE product from some fabulous companies like Xyron! These Sticker Makers were a huge hit!

Fearless leader Patsy guides everyone through the page kits step-by-step. She is an absolute riot and has an amazing sense of humor! Need an example? Watch this highly entertaining Quick Quotes version of Undercover Boss, which was shared at the event.

Before and after breaks and meals, scrappers participated in contests. The entries for each contest were absolutely gorgeous and the prizes up for grabs were amazing!

At random times throughout each day, Patsy gave away prizes by drawing raffle tickets. The prizes ranged from embellishment, ink and page kit bundles to a Canon Printer!

There was a Canon Printing Station set up for the entire weekend. We were able to print photos for free! There were also printers available for purchase at a great discount!

The large Canon printers were a huge hit and many people printed large photos to hang in their homes or to give as gifts.

Each night there was an open crop where crafters finished up layouts from earlier in the day or worked on other projects. There was also a Quick Quotes Store set up so we were able to stock up on vellum quotes, ink, embellishments and page kits.

Of course, there was plenty of time to take a selfie!

Here's a sample of some of the projects I completed over the weekend:

I highly recommend the Quick Quotes Private Reserve Events! After writing this post, I have to admit that I'm disappointed I'm not attending this year.

There are also options for Mini Reserves. How does a Mini Reserve differ from a Private Reserve?
  • More affordable - check out the current pricing here*.
  • 2 fun filled days instead of 3.
  • Focus on classes.
  • Includes Lunch.
There are quite a variety of locations, look for one close to you today here!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
