Good morning Quick Quotes readers, Alicia with you today to show off some pretty tags made from altered dictionary pages.
Pin It Now!
These are actually a set of two dictionaries from my childhood. My husband said recycle them and I said NO! Repurpose them! So here is just my first project of what is sure to be many altered dictionary page projects.

PowderPuff Chalk Inks used to distress the dictionary page:
This is my favorite tag of the three I made.
- I inked the tag generously with Sky Blue.
- Layered a piece of dictionary page and then a generously inked doily in Latte.
- I inked the small Petaloo flower in Sunset.
- The larger flower and the entire card are edged with Sky Blue.
- I added some blue seam binding for the ribbon.

For this tag, I used the same dictionary page and diecuts from Gypsy Road paper. I used a stylus on the back of the flowers to distress before chalking them with PowderPuff Chalk Inks. I added some heavy decorative metal brads.

This tag does not use the dictionary page but an inked doilie. I used Plum Crazy PowderPuff Chalk Ink generously on the doily and the tag which was first covered with Alton 300 paper. The flowers are made from Alton 100 paper.

Love them! Especially the first one with the stamps. I had just picked up a vintage dictionary at the thrift store for just this purpose. You gave me some great inspiration! TY
Not familiar with the Powder Puff Chalk Ink but it makes beautiful projects. Love your recycled book pages.
