Stamping Fun with Martha!

Hello friends, Martha Lucia here sharing a double stamping technique with the new 2015 Collection of Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk Ink. To show you this I created this card using two different colors for my flowers and leaves.

STAMPED FLOWERS WITH CHALK INK

The first thing that I did was to create the layers for my card. For this I used Very Vanilla cardstock as card base, the dark red side of the Celebrate 700 as second layer, basic gray cardstock as third layer, and then I used another decorated piece of the dark side of Gypsy Road 800 layered over the same Celebrate 700 for the focal point piece. I tied a bow in Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon on top and I pasted diagonally over the layers using dimensionals. Easy and simple, because these are the standard steps to create a card.

Now is time to tell you what colors of PowderPuff Chalk Ink I used to stamp my flowers. The base of the cardstock is very vanilla and I decided to use one standard color in all the flowers, this was the Fuchsia PowderPuff Chalk Ink. With the small flowers I combined this with the Cherry Blossom PowderPuff Chalk Ink. With the bigger flowers, I used Sunset PowderPuff Chalk Ink and Buttercup PowderPuff Chalk Ink. For the leaves I used two different greens, the Seafoam PowderPuff Chalk Ink and the Evergreen Powder Puff Chalk Ink.

To align all the images to stamp I used the stamp-a-majig tool. And when I finished all of the stamping process I cut each flower and leaves using scissors in order to paste them with dimensionals over the principal focal piece. I used different highs of dimensionals to get more of an impact. To finalize I stamped a sentiment using the Evergreen PowderPuff Chalk Ink that I pasted on top bellow of the bow.

When you use PowderPuff Chalk Ink with rubber stamps you get vibrant and sharp colors that make your images look more real. I had a great time experimenting with my stamps and different techniques to use these Chalk Inks and I am in love with the results.
