Hi there Quick Quotes fans! Jen here today to host the blog for you.
I have a cool inking technique that I would like to share with you today! I chose papers from the Calypso paper collection for my layout. I inked the edges of my papers with Blue Moon PowderPuff Chalking Ink before layering them onto my background sheet.
I decided that I wanted to add a ribbon around one of the papers, but I didn’t have a ribbon that would match the colors of my layout. Problem solved! I inked both sides of a light pink ribbon with my Blue Moon PowderPuff Chalking Ink.

I placed the ribbon on a hard surface, placed my ink pad over the top of the ribbon, then I pulled the ribbon up at an angle to create tension between the ink pad and my ribbon. The ribbon turned out to be a perfect match!

To finish off the layout, I added in a sentiment from the Baggage Claim line and pop dotted it onto my page. I then added flower gemstones onto the title and around my photo.

Quick Quotes Items Used:
Calypso 200
Calypso 300
Calypso Die-Cut Stickers
Baggage Claim Sentiment Strip
Pink Organza Ribbon
Blue Moon PowderPuff Chalking Ink
Other Items Used:
Flower Gemstones
Thanks so much for stopping on over today for a visit!
