All Inked Up with Donna!

Hi everyone, Donna here and I am all inked up!

I just love Quick Quotes PowderPuff Chalk Inks, definitely my go to inks and there always seems to be a few of them on my desk at all times. They are so versatile and can be used in so many different ways. Here is a layout I did using 6 different colors of the PowderPuff Chalk Inks.

I used Red Hot PowderPuff Chalk Ink to ink the edges of some of the papers. I also dabbed it a few times on the cork arrows until I reached the desired result.

On the Pattern Perfect, I dabbed lightly Red Hot and Biscotti. It was just a little too bright and I felt I needed to soften the colors. It's a little hard to see but I did some paint splotches by pressing my ink pad down on a mat a spritzing it with a little water then flinging it with a paint brush on the paper. Of course this has to be done before anything is put down on your background sheet of paper.

By mixing different color inks here I changed the look of the paper a little. I also used a stamp and Coal Miner to stamp the word Magical Memories.

You can also stamp on chipboard, like I did here with the Baggage Claim Chipboard tag and Coal Miner.

Dab PowderPuff Chalk Ink on wooden items like these great little stars.

Designer Tip:
When using PowderPuff Chalk Ink to recolor items such as paper, cork, wood, chipboard, dab lightly, and repeat until you get the shade you want. You can always go back and add more!
