Guest Designer Pinky + A Giveaway!

Happy Friday Quick Quotes friends!  We have a special Guest Designer joining us this month, please give a very warm and special welcome to...

Hi, I am Cristal but everyone calls me Pinky! I am very excited to be Guest Designing for Quick Quotes this month.

When I am not crafting (let's face it- practically never!) you can find me behind the camera and at local sporting events with my boys! I am an Autism mom and a happily known quirky chicken. Hope you enjoy my projects as much as I enjoyed making them!

Good morning friends, I am excited to be the Guest Designer for Quick Quotes this month and very excited to share this fun project with you.

*****

A Sun Catcher I created using the Calypso line of paper and embellishments.

And I do have a step by step tutorial as well!

Using an acrylic flourish (Clear Scraps) coat in Sail Boat Blue Alcohol ink.

bird, and press into place.

Adhere to bird- and tie coordinating color ribbon through top.

Using Xyron adhesive dots - Roll and attach flourish to bird as shown.

Add more Calypso Chipboard Die Cuts over the flourish.

Thread Crystal Sun Catcher through bottom of bird.

Add rhinestone accents on both sides.

Now you have an amazing Sun Catcher that will shine in your window all spring!
I hope you enjoyed my project today.
Until next time- Keep on creating!!

Welcome Miss Pinky. Glad to have you showing us a pretty project. It gave me an idea on how to hide the coloring that bled through to the back of a bird going on a window card.
thanks. I'll be watching to see what other tips you'll be helping me with.
