White Space with Cathy

Hi Quick Quote Fans!  Cathy hosting the blog today and I have a clean and simple layout to share with you. I really love the look and the trend in the paper crafting world lately with white space.

I think it is hard thing for some of us scrappers to get used to creating.  We all love to fill up the page with pictures and gorgeous embellishments.  But I think sometimes just a simple layout with minimal embellishments really helps to put the focus on the picture.

This picture is just so sweet and picture perfect to me, that I really wanted it to be the star of my page!

I love the crispness that the black snowflakes add with added interest and contrast that the white embossing paste dots create!  These two embellishments that are both minimal, really capture the feel
I wanted to create with this layout and the quote is perfect for these two little shining stars.

They are my friend's little ones and let me tell you these two cute kiddos couldn't be any more loved than they already are! The quote says:

"If I could reach up and hold a Star
for every time you've made me Smile,
the entire evening sky
would be in the palm of my Hand."

This quote was included in the November Club Q and I used some pieces here on my page.  Quick Quotes always has the perfect quote for every occasion out there, whether vellum or cardstock, it's always a wise idea to have a bunch in your stash...so you can add text and journaling with ease!

Very elegant page, you were right to leave the picture the star of the page!
