Hi everyone, Donna here today to host the blog for you today!
I have a banner to share with you that I made for the holidays. This was so much fun to make and the possibilities are endless when making a banner.
- I started out by cutting the banners I made two different shapes, a triangle using Quick Quotes Back to Basics which is placed over the flag shaped banner which is made from Quick Quotes new line Treasure Chest.
- I also took a decorative edge punch to border the triangle banner.
- Next make three rosettes and on the top of them place your chipboard letters.
- I used Viva Inka Gold Metallic Rub which makes anything look gold and it goes on so smooth.
- Next make three bows using raffia which you can buy at any craft store.
- After attaching them, use some raffia to attach all three banner pieces leaving about an inch or two in between banner pieces.
- I wanted to go crazy embellishing, but I ended up only adding a wood star in the ribbon. Simple, but elegant.
