Tuesday Techniques with Lynn!

Morning Everyone! It's Lynn blogging today and I would love to share a layout I did using the new Stowaway collection. I've been wanting to scrap some of my daughters Mexico photos and this was the perfect collection. I wish I could say that body on the beach was me....

For this layout I used a little modeling paste to add some texture to my background. I took my Blue Hawaiian PowderPuff Chalking Ink and chalked over the paste to blend it back into my background.

The quotes from the Stowaway 6x6 Paper Stack  had just the right elements to complete my layout. I love that the Paper Stacks not only have paper, they have quotes in them too. I then distressed the edges and used the Amaretto PowderPuff Chalking Ink to finish them off.

I also used the Amaretto to color my chipboard, then stamped with the Blue Hawaiian over top to give it a little more dimension. I'm having so much fun with these new inks, that nothing goes untouched now on my projects!

Quick Quotes Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Stowaway 100 , 200400 , 6x6 Paper Stack
Stickers: Stowaway Stickers
PowderPuff Chalking Ink: AmarettoBlue Hawaiian

Other Supplies: Prima Flowers, Modeling Paste, FabScraps Chipboard, Crafters Workshop Mini Peacock Feathers Template, Lindy's Stamp Gang Danny Zuko's Denim, Cheesecloth, Ribbon

Hope your all having a fabulous day and thank you for letting me share my project with you today.

Very well done.
Your LO is very serene looking.
I like the use of the modeling paste. Does it add much weight?
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Karen! The modeling paste adds a little weight but it's pretty light. It's fun to use.
