Mini Album Inspiration with Karan!

Happy Wednesday Girlfriends!

It's December already, I'm sure many scrappers are trying to finish up holidays craft projects and looking for quick gift ideas to give to loved ones.  Here is a quick and easy project.

This is from a paid for file from Silhouette, kraft paper, Cherry Truffle line and a kit that I purchased at the York, Pennsylvania Quick Quotes Private Reserve that I had taken apart. I used some of the paper, the canvas heart, photo anchors and the chipboard hearts from the kit.

The file is a two part file, first file was the mini album, and the second file was the box.  At the moment the album is empty, just kraft paper and a couple papers from the cherry truffle line and the person receiving this cute project can just add their own photos, it's all ready for them.

The album box cover, I covered with Cherry Truffle papers, then used cardstock and paper from the kit.  That canvas heart and all those chipboard hearts I felt were perfect for a family project. So, I cut the title from my Silhouette as well using the Lobster free font (the link is on my blog if you would like it).

I inked some of the photo corners from the kit with Maraschino Cherry and Bloody Mary PowderPuff Chalk Inks. then added some glimmer using a clear dust glaze pen. here is a close up of the cover detail.

I love my foam dots as I use a lot of them for added dimension.

I hope this is a project you can see yourself creating this holiday season.  I know anyone receiving this as a gift will treasure it each and every time they look at it!
