Hello
Quick Quotes fans! Jan here today to host the blog for you.
I bought this treasure chest type box at a thrift store and decided the new
Cracklin' Rose Line would give the box a beautiful vintage look.
I started the background using a stencil and some molding paste. I then used Powder Puff Chalking Ink to add some color to the molding paste. Colors used are
Bloody Mary and
Limeade.
I've enhanced the top of the box with flowers, burlap, mini candle sticks, border punch and pearls. The top of the chest was misted with misting spray to give it an aged look.
The inside is lined with
Cracklin' Rose. It's all held together with
Helmar 450 Quick Dry. Love that stuff :)
