Thank you for stopping...

Happy Thursday to you!  Karan here to share some inspiration with you.

I don't know about you, but I love random photo shots of my family, when they are just doing their everyday thing. Looking through the lens when I take random photos, you just never know what you will end up with!

I just adore it when i can scan through my photos I have taken and come across one, that truly speaks a thousand words.

This one of my hubby is just that.  It was taken last summer on one of our camping trips along Sauble Beach.  Cracklin' Rose, although, a heritage Christmas line, can be used for anything! So, I misted my cardstock using my mists that I have made using the Quick Quotes Chalk Inks.  Crafters Workshop Templates added the detail I wanted along with some muted stamping.
Although a water photo, my hubby is my rock, the bricks for me, show the strength this man gives me! He truly is my best friend!

The itty bitty heritage quotes provide incredible journaling spots when you feel you are stuck to find the right words, and what better way to use them, then to cut them into strips, attach to cardstock and voila, you have your journaling.

Following our July challenge to use punches or die cuts, the flower was punched using an EK Success flower punch.  I then inked the edges a bit darker using the same ink, misted entire punched flowers (using my mists that I made from the QQ Chalk Inks).

I covered them in versa mark and dipped in clear embossing powder, while still hot, I formed them.  I did the same to the clock chipboard laser die cut from QQ!

Using an old font from Sizzix, I cut chipboard, and then covered with canvas. The Maya road chipboard alphas are covered in QQ Ink.  Technique I used on the flower, I also used on the butterfly from QQ!
Materials Used:
Quick Quotes--Cracklin Rose-
Bazzill Cardstock
Sizzix Fun Serif Font
Maya Road chipboard alphabet, and key
Canvas Corp corrugated
Crafters Workshop template-bricks
Dusty Attic scroll chipboard

Happy Scrapping!!!

I hope my layout has inspired you to look at those vellum quotes you have in your stash, cut them into strips and use them on your next project! I bet you will find a whole new use for vellum you never thought possible!
