Canvas Project with Jen

Happy Friday to all our Quick Quotes friends!  Jen here today to share a cute canvas project with you!  


To create this piece, I first covered the canvas using Quick Quotes new “Just Because” paperline.  I tore the edges of several of the papers before layering them and inked the edges with Mocha Mama Powderpuff Chalking Ink.   


I used a border punch to create the two blue paper strips at the top and bottom of the canvas.
I tore the edges of the “Memories” vellum strip and added it next to the torn brown paperstrip on the left hand side of the canvas.  I knotted a piece of ribbon and attached it to the right side of the brown photo mat before adding it to the piece.  I then added 3 pink Prima flowers to finish off the canvas.

I have the canvas displayed on an easle, but it could easily be hung on a wall by attaching a cute matching ribbon to the back!
