Butterfly Love

HAPPY MONDAY to Y'ALL FROM MISTY!

Yes, I am from Texas, and Y'all is a word!  LOL

I am here to give you a little bit of inspiration for Mother's Day in the form of a card.  I really don't make cards often, but when I do, I like for them to be unique.

For this one, I chose to use a butterfly stamp and ALL of the brighter colors of our Powder Puff Inks to make the various butterflies.

I stamped a few directly onto the front of the card, and then I fussy cut out some others to create a 3d effect.   I also used crystal stickles to cover all of the wings of the fussy cut butterflies.  It looks fantastic in person!  The bouquet of butterflies will be perfect for a Mother's Day Card!

Designers Tip:
For the 3d butterflies, I used the full strength of the inked stamp.  When I stamped directly onto the front of the card, I did blot scrap sheet of paper to get some of the ink off of the stamp a few times.  I wanted it to be more pale looking as opposed to the bright and vibrant ones that are popping off the card.

Supplies used:
Stickles
Cardstock
Ribbon
Puff paint
