Friday Challenge #11 - Frame It!

Friday Challenge #11

Frame It!

Challenge Open From: 1/6 - 1/25

It is challenge time here again at the Quick Quotes blog! Beginning in January we are going to switch things up a bit and run one challenge each month. We will begin the first Friday of each month and the challenge will be open until 11:59 pm PST on the 25th.

Your QQ GDT Challenge Host for January - Anne Brown!

Today I have a greeting card for your viewing pleasure! An adorable little fairy peeks out of the shaped window frame on the front of the card. I am a huge fan of illustrator Phee McFaddell and if you have ever visited my blog, you will see lots more cards and projects adorned with her beautiful characters. I colored this little fairy with Copic markers in colors that would coordinate with the Quick Quotes Julie Je t’aime paper collection. I love all of the QQ papers but Julie Je t’aime is my favorite line, by far! I used the 200 and 300 papers to make this card.
What little girl wouldn’t enjoy receiving a card like this for her birthday? Thanks for stopping by today. I invite you to visit my blog if you have a few extra minutes. Have a look around and if you like what you see, I would love to have you as a follower.
Anne's challenge to you? Create a project, any project and include a frame on it! It can be a card, layout or project that is newly created for this challenge.

Like the frame creation & challenge. Entered my hockey frames. The link indicated 0 in collection but when I entered there was one entry so I'm #2 but when I exited it still indicated 0 entries even though I click & see the 2 entries.

Very pretty card! The papers and colors are perfect and the fairy is so enchanting. You did an amazing job bringing her to life. Thanks for the inspiration and the fun challenge.

Anne thanks for the great inspiration from your beautiful card. I knew right away I wanted to do a layout with this paper and the peacock on the Art Nouveau cart. So glad you reminded me of the vivid colors.

I linked up a layout I did for my WOW Embossing Powders DT using Damsel in Distress 300 as the background. If you look closely at the right side of the page, you can see the word art through the embossing.
