Hi everyone, Theresa here and I want to wish a belated Happy New Year to everyone!
Well, I have a fun card I made (shhhh, it's for my Dear Daughter, lol) and I had the privilege of getting to use some of the new releases for CHA from Quick Quotes and the paper lines I used is Dreamscape!
I also got to use my Grand Calibur from Spellbinders that all of us gals on the Design Team were lucky to receive from Spellbinders (Thank You Spellbinders for an Amazing Machine!)
Here is a side view of the card for a better view of the die cuts and dimension.
And yet another view of the dimension!
Well I know you are all going to be pretty excited for the new releases for CHA! We are going to be highlighting them this month so make sure you come back to get your sneak peeks! We will also be highlighting our Spellbinders Grand Calibur so keep your eyes peeled on the Quick Quotes Blog for all your Inspiration!((Hugs)) and Take Care, Theresa
Good morning crafty friends, Melin here! Today’s project is showcasing the wonderful new line from Quick Quotes.
It’s called Dreamscape and it is very pretty to say the least. It is filled with beautiful double-sided paper as well as coordinating vellum quotes and a great new product called Vellum Silhouettes. Here is my project:
Here is a close up shot to show the beautiful butterfly. I purposely didn’t do a thing to it. I wanted it to just be the subtlest of accents. It is layered on top of the pretty hearts that I cut from my Grand Calibur and the Classic Scalloped Hearts Dies from Spellbinders.
Here is a close up shot of the Ribbon Banners die I used. It is adhered to the ribbon and the ribbon is adhered to the edges of the matte. This way, when I put a photograph in, it will easily slide underneath. Also notice the tiny little hearts. Those are the “negative” pieces from the Contemporary Hearts Pendants spellbinders die set
Here is a shot of the vellum silhouette. I decided I wanted to “color” it with my Copic Markers. It worked like a charm. The copics didn’t bleed through and dried very quickly. Also, there was no feathering or bleeding. So, it is wonderful with your copics!
Here is a close up of the vellum.

Beautiful!
Theresa love the frame and banner. The flowers and the yellow rick rack are perfect. Great layering to add dimension to the card.
Melin all the vellum is beautiufl. Love the banner on your card too. Gorgeous flowers Such rich colors. Thanks ladies
Melin and Theresa, these are just stunning! I wasn't sure when I saw the first 2 sneaks if there would be a lot of color in this new line and I have my answer now! They are gorgeous and just what I have been wanting to see more of in the QQ products. I like the subtlety of the blacks and creams and other more earthy and neutral palettes a lot but I really love the likes of Julie Je T'aime and Saavy Davvy even more. I'm dying to get my hands on these! Thanks for the inspiration, ladies!
Both projects are beautiful!! I am loving the colors!!

Beautiful card for my daughters...
Loving the fun stuff....
Colors are melding well together.
I like to see samples with the layouts with photo's. I wonder if black and white or what kinda photo to put with layout... I am a little challenged that way , but I bet I am such a simple scrapper...
Especially like the use of vellum for the Butterflies. I like Butterflies.
