CHA Sneak: Dreamscape Day 1

Today we are featuring creations using a brand new line to be released at CHA called Dreamscape! We are also going to be working with some special dies and machines this month too.

The Quick Quotes Design Team members each received a Spellbinders Grand Calibur machine and sets of dies. We will be featuring these Spellbinders products this month in concert with our Quick Quotes products. How fun is that?!!! If you are not familiar with Spellbinders yet, you are in for a real treat!

First up is Adora with a beautiful page for you! Happy new year everyone, Adora here with my first project to share for 2012! What a better way to start a creative year?!! I feel so lucky to have the privilege of getting a first hands-on, on this new fabulous, new release DreamScape paper line by Quick Quotes! I love it! The color scheme is absolutely gorgeous.

We are also teaming up this month with Spellbinders, how awesome is that! So, here is what I created with it – a layout of me and my grandson, of course!

Supplies Used:
New QQ DreamScape Papers
QQ Frosted Flowers
Spellbinders Nested Leaves
Spellbinders Wonky Rectangle
Spellbinders Grand Calibur
Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch

Framing the small photos using a rectangle shape helps highlight and makes the focal point of this layout.

Happy 2012 to you from Lisa!

To kick off the new year I've been scrapping my 2011 pictures :) Here is a layout using Quick Quotes newest paper line called "Dreamscape."

The QQ design team was lucky enough to be sent a Spellbinders Grand Caliber die cut/embossing machine. I used the 'Labels 1' Grand dies to make the nesting shapes behind my photo. Then I used my 'Wonky Rectangles' to make the mats behind my vellum. I love this machine! Not only does it cut, but it also embosses! This pic shows the imprinted design around the edges.

To jazz up some of my cardstock, I added some liquid glass to the pre-printed flowers.

Supplies Used:
QQ Dreamscape papers
QQ Frosted Flourishes
QQ Vellum
Spellbinders Grand Caliber + Wonky Rectangles & Labels 1 Dies
Martha Stewart Border Punch

-------------------------------------------------

We love what you've created ladies!

Want to see even more Dreamscape and Spellbinders? I know I do!!! Stay tuned for more projects from the Design Team using them in harmony.

These are really lovely layouts, Adora and Lisa! I love this new line and the contrast of light and dark tones. I'm a big Spellbinders addict as well and I think you already know how I feel about QQ! No secret there! What a great combination! Almost as good as QQ and Petaloo. :)
