Christmas Eve goodness!

One day until Christmas... which means most of are us
are gearing up for SANTA and putting out cookies & milk.

Here are a few more holiday inspired projects by Theresa & Lisa!

THERESA - Christmas cards

Hi Everyone, Theresa here and I want to say “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays”! I have a fun card for you today. Very “JOYful”, lol! Well all the pattern papers are from the December Club Q Kit and I used Bloody Mary Powderpuff Chalk Ink to ink everything, Cardstock is from DCWV. Now I had picked up some of these glittered Christmas Ornaments from Wal-Mart because I loved the color and thought it would look cute on a card or a layout and who would have known it would be perfect with the December Club Q kits! I used a Martha Stewart punch for the layers on my trees then just cut them into tree shapes and staggered them on my card and added a few pop dots for some added dimension. The little village is also a Martha Stewart punch and with a added sparkly star, some bling and some ribbon, I have a very “JOYful” card!

Merry Christmas Day Everyone, hope you are enjoying your time with your Families and Friends! Theresa here and all us want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and share with you some Christmas Inspiration! Well my card was inspired by these fun Sparkly Bow Ornaments that I got at Wal-mart that I thought would look great on a card or layout. And what a perfect topper to my Martha Stewart punched and layered tree! Designer papers are from the December Club Q kit which I inked with Bloody Mary Powderpuff Chalk Ink also the cardstock is from DCWV, added my great Bow and another gold bow and then used a couple of other Martha Stewart punches like the village, ornaments and snowflake ones, added a bit of bling to the snowflake and done!

LISA - interactive layout
My oldest son is now 4 and truly understands Santa's role this year.  It is a very exciting time for us and there has been lots of baking gearing up for the special plate we're leaving for Santa & his reindeer.  In anticipation of all of the amazing photos I know I'll be taking, I have created a layout with an interactive mini album in the middle of my page.  I used one 12x12 sheet of word/phrases paper from the new 'Very Merry' line (Dec Club Q).  Then I cut out the 4 corner squares out to frame photos.  To create the mini album I used a 3x9 piece of paper and scored it at every 3 inches.  I decorated the cover and added a pull tab.  I used a circle plastic frame and wrapped ribbon around it to showcase the date.  I added a little glitter & liquid glass to various parts of the paper to make it pop.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL & to ALL a Good Night!

Theresa I love that you used your MS punch to make the trees. Definitely will try that. I love new uses for my punches. Also like the Joy ornament on the card. Great idea.
Lisa I love your mini book on a page. I love this idea of hidden pages every since I took your class. Love the colors on this one and will definitely try this. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all the Blog Quote Team.
