MICHELLE - 'Time Stands Still' Canvas

I am loving the new Copper Kettle Line that was included in November’s Club Q. I have a wedding to go to in a few weeks and wanted to make part of their gift (Which the papers are perfect for!). I took the 10x10 Canvas and covered it with the Time Stands Still For No one paper at the bottom and added a piece of paper from the Cherry Truffle line to the top of the Canvas and for the photo mat as well. All paper was inked with a Bloody Mary Powder Puff Ink Pad. I still had Petaloo flowers left from our cross promotion and wanted to incorporate them into this project as well so they have been added to the top right corner of the photo mat.

The Flower Ribbon is ribbon that we were selling at our Private Reserve Events. The Plastic Clocks are from Maya Road and I was so excited that the largest clock fit perfectly into the clock printed on the paper so that it appears to have a shadow. I also added a pin with ribbon (from the Kit) and brads that I had in my Stash.

JULIE - Altered Photo Book

Non QQ products Used:
4x6 photo book
Making Memories tiny alphabet stickers
Description/tips/techniques:
I love giving these altered photo books as Christmas gifts. Each year I put a year’s worth of pictures in them. Everyone loves these because they get to see how the girls spent the last year and see how they’ve changed in a year as well. These are especially wonderful for grandparents and any relatives that live further away. They are even perfect sized for carrying in a purse.

Steps:
Get a 4 x 6 photo album. Mine were purchased at WalMart for $1. Take the front and back inserts out. Cut two 4 x 6 pieces of paper from the Music pattern paper. These will be the base and will replace the original inserts. Ink the edges of both of the bases.
Cut out the “Life’s Music is Forever Changing” from the November Club Q kit. Adhere it as shown. Tear the edge of the journaled page and ink the edges. Adhere over the music base and this will be your cover.

For the back, cover the plastic negative slide with the music pattern paper. Ink the edges. Wrap the ribbon trim around one side. Adhere a bow as well. Cut a 4 x 5 ½ inch piece of the music paper. You will be using the back side of this paper. Adhere this to the music paper base. Using the 3 in 1 Beacon glue adhere the slide as shown. Add your dates inside the slide.
Here is a picture of the front and back covers before sliding them into the album.
Fill your album with pictures. Here is a picture of the inside of my album.

These make great Christmas gifts and will be cherished for years to come.
The 3-in-1 Beacon glue is great for adhering the music paper to the plastic slide. I love the strength of this glue.

Pin It Now!
