FRIDAY CHALLENGE TIME!!!

We are sooooo excited to bring you our FIRST
(with many more to come)
FRIDAY CHALLENGE!

How it works:
  • * One Design Team member hosts a challenge (it will be described below)
  • * You create a layout(s), card, canvas or altered project based on the challenge and upload it using the InLinkz tool. You do not have to use Quick Quotes paper/product. Everyone can play! (upload by Thurs 8/11 at 11:59pm (pacific time)).
  • * The QQ Design Team will choose their fav 3 projects who will get featured here at the blog and will get a cool 'Quick Quotes top 3' button to display on their own blog - 'awesome'
  • * Every person who enters also has an equal chance to win the prize (chosen by random # generator). Prize is different for each challenge.
  • NOTE: The Design Team will also be uploading their projects to show you their take on the challenge, but don't worry - they cannot win the prizes :) You will see (DT) next to their names below the picture of their entries!

WHO's UP FOR THE CHALLENGE???
-----------------------------
FRIDAY CHALLENGE 8/5 - Number Challenge: include a number somewhere on your project. This could be a 'top 10 favorite things' or '5 things I love about you' or '50th birthday', etc. (it just needs a # somewhere) :)

This FRIDAY CHALLENGE is being hosted by
QQ Design Team member: MICHELLE

Here is my Layout for the Number Challenge. When I first thought of the challenge, I fully intended to do a list involving numbers. More specifically, 5 things that bring me happiness. I then decided I wanted to use the Merry Go Round paper line and as I was going through the papers, realized that the color scheme of the paper line has my daughter's High School Colors in it. I then decided to find a picture of her from her first day of high school because the thought of how many years I have left with her before she leaves the nest (depending on her college decision that is) made me realize how quickly it is all going by. So I chose to go with the number 4. On my layout I used 4 different patterned papers, 4 sets of die cut numbers, 4 different fonts when I die cut the numbers, 4 blue flowers, orange flowers in 4 different spots, a journaling card with the number 4 highlighted. I cut all papers and inked the edges with Blue Hawaiian Powderpuff Chalk Ink. Layed all papers and photos on background page. Placed numbers along bottom of page and around the photos. Put bling in the middle of the flowers and placed on page. I journaled on the card and added that to the layout. I took the Itty Bitty Quote and tore it in half and inked edges, tucked ends under paper layers and flower. The title was cut and inked before adding to page and the words below are inked as well. I look forward to seeing what you create with this challenge. Remember, all you have to do is involve numbers in some way..

Supplies used: Quick Quotes Merry Go Round Papers, Quote from Itty Bitty Box of Quotes, Blue Hawaiian PowderPuff Chalk Ink, Prima Flowers, Authentique word stickers, Jenni Bowlin Journaling Card, Martha Stewart Punch, Quickutz Alphabet Dies: Chocolate, Moonlight, Aquarius and Chemistry; Sizzix Lime Light Sizzlet dies.

-----------------------------------------------------------
PRIZE: "Savvy Davvy" paper collection
(some of the papers even have #'s on them) :)
Everyone who enters has an equal chance to win the prize!
**Prize disclaimer at the bottom of the post

TOP 3:
The Top 3 projects chosen by the DT will get their projects displayed here on our blog and get an amazing "top 3" button to proudly display on your own blog.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Use the InLinkz button here to upload your project! Happy Scrapping!
(PS - InLinkz will ask you to copy/paste the URL link to your project. It won't allow you to link to your entire blog, but instead wants the link to the specific post that contains this project. Try it, and if you have trouble please email me: lisa.quickquotes@gmail.com)

(*QQ Prize Disclaimer: prize contest open to US residents only. If you live outside the US and want to play, you would be responsible for any shipping costs for prizes won.)

Hi Barbi - when I click on your picture above it won't show me your LO, it says there is an error. You may want to try to load it up again. :)
