-----------------------------------------------

NOW ON TO THE INSPIRATION:

TIP: substitute a different vellum quote or sentiment in the cards below and 'voila,' you have a card for a different occasion. QQ has a wide array of vellum quotes to fit any occasion.

________________________________________________

THERESA

Items Used: Quick Quotes Miss Morgan papers, QQ Purple Passion chalking ink, QQ bling, Stampin' Up Stamps, Spellbinders diecuts for the frames.

Tips/techniques: Theresa says "since I don't have Copic markers (a bit pricey and not in my budget right now) a great alternative to use is Colored Markers with Mineral Spirits (also known as Gamsol). To give the dress forms more dimension she added pop dots.
________________________________________________
RHONDA

Tips/techniques: A2 tent fold card. Trim cardstock to 11"x4.25 wide, score at 5.5" and fold. To create the wavy ribbon adhere in place with small glue dots. To create her doily: she layered her chalking ink colors. She started with a layer of Limeade, then mixed Very Berry over the top.
________________________________________________

MICHELLE

Items Used: Quick Quotes Savvy Davvy papers, QQ Maraschino Cherry Powderpuff Inks. Basic Grey Stamp, Martha Stewart Loop de Loop Punch, Queen & Co felt border.

Tips/techniques: Card is 4.25" x 5.5". Michelle inked the edges of all of her papers + used the same chalking ink to stamp her sentiment.
________________________________________________

MELIN

Items Used: Quick Quotes Mary's Garden papers, Coordinating Mary's Garden Ribbon & Brads, QQ Bling, QQ Bloody Mary powderpuff chalking ink, Itty Bitty Box Quotes (babies, kids & family)

Tips/techniques: Melin used her Cricut and a home-made Digital Stamp to create her look above.

________________________________________________
LISA

Items Used: Quick Quotes Miss Morgan papers, QQ chalking inks in Very Berry, Purple Passion & Mocha Mama. QQ bling, QQ Itty Bitty box of quotes (holidays & events).

Tips/techniques: Start with a square base card and use a border punch to cut across the top of the card only. This will allow you to 'peek' at the inside of the card. Then mount your square base to other layers of paper. To create the background: use a stipple brush & 2 colors of QQ powderpuff ink to swirl on color (use one color at a time to avoid messing up your ink pads & start with the lightest color first).

________________________________________________

JULIE

Items used: Quick Quotes Miss Morgan papers, QQ 'Purple Passion' chalking ink, QQ Chipboard butterfly & bling. American Crafts rub-on for the sentiment.

Tips/Techniques: ink all edges of each paper to make each piece of the card stand out from each other. The QQ powderpuff chalking inks are 50% ink and 50% chalk so easily they glide on.

________________________________________________

JEN

Items Used: Quick Quotes Miss Morgan papers & QQ ribbon. Heidi Grace transparency, + various brads.

Tips/Techniques: to create the base of the card Jen selected a section of the 12x12 word and phrases paper from the Miss Morgan collection. There are many cute sayings to choose from. She then added a transparency over the top of the front of the card and held in place with brads.
________________________________________________

DONNA

Items Used: Quick Quotes Damsel in Distress papers, QQ Adhesive Backed Glitter Diecuts

Tips/Techniques: for an easy way to jazz up any card just pop on a Glitter Diecut Piece.

________________________________________________

ADORA

Items used: white cardstock for the base. Quick Quotes Damsel in Distress papers, QQ Blue Hawaiian Chalking ink, Pink Paisley Stamp, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Maya Road cupcake chipboard.

Tips/techniques: to add texture and dimension: cut out butterflies & ink the edges. Then use pop dots to attach it onto the card. The banner was printed from the computer.
